Herald on Shearer – After Clark: a diplomat’s bid

The media sure love to back a winner. Remember the “unauthorised” biography of John Key titled the man who would be PM? Which, given that one of the article’s authors is now one of John Key’s Press Secretaries, was perhaps more “authorised” than “un”. 

In similar glowing tones, there is today’s NZ Herald bio piece on Labour’s David Shearer. I’m sure his media man Conor Roberts will be getting a few high-fives  around Mt Albert HQ today.
